Tain Silver is produced by Douglas Scott who has run the family business since 1985 with his wife Rita in the Highlands of Scotland.

It was Dougie’s passion for both Celtic Art and the Pictish standing stones found locally which, together with his ability for fine limit metal work, enabled Tain Silver to flourish. His inspirations come from the intricate designs of the richly decorated Celtic gospels and the enigmatic Pictish symbol stones.

Established for over twenty years, we have built up a number of regular clients from as far afield as Canada and the United States, as well as from around the UK and, closer to home, local clients in and around Inverness and throughout Scotland.
